A powerful African-American spiritual specifically arranged for middle-school choirs, including a cambiata part and flexible voicing.  Inspired by arrangements sung by the great Mahalia Jackson, this setting infuses the spiritual with elements of gospel music.

Given the history of spirituals and the continuing consequences of the injustice that surrounded their creation, I will donate half of my proceeds from this arrangement to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
